Rausch Creek Offroad park, Tremont, PA

was there last weekend, camping was below freezing at night, 50~ish in the day. met up with a few guys who i wheeled with the last time i was there, and the beating began. no breakage, just some body damage and my front drive shaft now has 2" of run-out.

on the way home i blew a trailer bearing ... that was a HUGE pain in my arse

Yeah, I bet a lot of people up here care about wheeling in PA. I think I am one of the only ones, if not the only one. Still a cool action shot though, and I WILL have my rig out there someday...being there twice without my rig hurts badly.

Hopefully I'll be there later this year.

Kind of makes me wonder what the Possum would look like with long hair...

Looks like some cool wheeling though, I like the variety of terrain that the place seems to have.

they have multiple huge concrete comp course, nature comp runs, thousands of acres of woods with everything from pole line rutted rally type tracks to HARD core rocks.

$45 a day to wheel, or $300 for a season pass ... $5 to ride along. free rustic camping with lots of parkin for trailers.

i hate that the pic doesn't show how steep it really was.

Wow that's pretty steep. Does that at least include camping and stuff?

Camping consists of putting a tent around the perimeter of a parking lot, but it is free.

According to RC website, wheeling is $35 a day for vehicle and driver.

As much as it may make me sound like a vagina, I'm curious. Is there on-site power, water, or bathrooms? Not having it sure as hell won't stop me, I'd just like to know what to expect ahead of time.

Nope. There are porta-potties, but that is it. If you want a shower, you gotta take a little drive to the truck stop. I did that the night before we left last time...well worth it...2 days of no shower, or brushing your teeth doesn't exactly feel nice.
