I'v been getting emails from UPMDA guys about the site and it was somewhat embarassing when the eagle radio guys pulled up the site today to look for bog information.
Please update event information on main and bog pages.
Im not trying to diss anyone, just would love to see the site updated more often _________________ I like 429s

I second it. I haven't really looked at that section of the site for a long time, but seriously, no updates since 2005, with a scrolling line that says the date for the 2007 bog? WTF?

Looks good socha,
not to be a dick, but the only problem I saw was
Friday Night "Test & Tune"! For a small free run your rig in the pit Friday Night to get a feel for, and tune your rig!
Im sure people can figure out that it should say fee, but maybe want to change it _________________ 2002 Chevy 1500

Well since we just now (you know, as in like 9 hours ago at the meeting) got the list for sponsors it was kind hard to get that on the web site. Sorry I don't have ESP so I can just know these things and get them up... _________________ "A dick in the ass is a mild discomfort" - Some mysterious Kansas resident

"2007 Fall Bog is happening September 29th"
"Last Update: November 22, 2007 17:04"
"2007
Soon to come"
"2006
Soon to come"
Quotes I just pulled off the Fall Bog section of the website.
Not trying to be a dick, just saying that in the future, we should do a better job of updating it. I'd be interested to know just how many "outsiders" stop to look at the site. This may very well be the first impression a lot of people get of us. I'd help, but I know nothing about website design/maintenance.
Homepage looks great, btw.

I agree that's way off, in fact that whole page shouldn't be up and thats my bad. I will change to link to go to the "new" bog page.
I really don't know what else to put up. The only information I had on bog was the Date and Location which I put up on the main page right after the first meeting.
I don't have past sponsors, any video, any pictures, past winners, or really anything else.
I will add anything you guys nicely suggest that I put up.
To Joe:
I would love to see these UPMDA emails though to see what they said. We were simply a sponsor for the event. The ONLY event details I ever received were up on the main page month's before the event. Out site even linked right to UPMDA for more info. If I saw the emails I can address they're concerns.
Also what info was the radio station looking for? Maybe I can add that....but just saying info isn't going to do much. If you suggest what they were looking for I can add it. Cause like I said, the Date and Location have been on the main page since the first meeting when I got the info, and if they were looking for sponsors I just received them after the meeting Thursday.
You also said to update event info on main and bog pages. Again, the only info I have has been up on the main page for a while.
I'm not trying to be a dick either, but I can't make some sweet elaborate web page with out any information. If you have something you want to suggest I put up I will definitely try to get it done! And it will probably get done faster if you ask nicely.
But just keep in mind guys that I can update anything if I don't have any info on it. _________________ "A dick in the ass is a mild discomfort" - Some mysterious Kansas resident

The emails were about our bog socha. They wanted the info for our event and there wasnt much info available. The mud drags have nothing to do with any of this.
As far as the radio station went. He asked me if we had a site and if there was info. I told him to go to the bog page. After looking at it he asked me where to click to get information on this years bog. I basicly had to tell him there aparently was none escept class and rules. The site looks better now. Im not a computer guy but i assume this shit take time. I only ask that time get spent just slighty more offten. Especially when we are ramping up for a public event.
Again, Im not trying to be negetive here. Just constructive
The main page is way better. Keep up the good work _________________ I like 429s
