For sale is a 1949 Dodge B Series 1/2 ton Pickup. The truck does NOT run. Give me your best offer. I would like the truck gone out of my yard before the snow flys.
The good:
Rare truck, Dodge Pilothouse pickups are hard to find
has the Bosch Beer Decals all over it, and was used in the local parades years ago, trucks color is red, black, and rust
Only 63000 miles? ill check the number... its in the 60000's
The truck is Complete, all parts except 1 emblem are there, and everything is origional
Frame is strait and looks solid (rusted, but solid), as well as the running gear, but it looks all origional...
3 or 4 speed? manual floor mounted shifter
Before the front tire shredded, the truck rolled well. towed the truck about 200 yards to get to the trailer to get it to my house 2 years ago. Truck hasnt moved since, but has been on wood blocks since.
Bad:
Flad head 6 cylinder is seized
Radiator is shot
Interior floor is shot, paper thin, and will definatly need to be redone, cab is sitting on the frame because the front cab mounts are rusted through. As a result you cant depress the clutch.
No wood in the bed anymore.
Front drivers side tire is shot, so the truck will need to be trailered out.
The truck is easily accessible, and you can pull right up to it. you will have to trailer the truck to your location. again, the truck does NOT run. I would like to get what ever money I can out of it, so give me an offer. If you want you can check the truck out sometimes. The truck is located in Bootjack, 6 miles from Lake Linden, 19 total miles from MTU. It would be a great project, I just dont have time for it.
thanks,
Darren |

| Id like to get $300. Listed it on craigslist for $700 at the beginning of the summer on craigslist, but had little interest. The money is going towards getting headers + an exhaust system for my pickup so the money is going to a good cause. |
