ic. so do all the aftermarket headers for geniii/iv stuff come with the air tube? You should inject propane through it.

thank you for not putting a 350 in it.

I don't know if they all do, I think it's just a California thing.....so I assume any "50 state legal" headers will have it. I don't care either way, the price was right and they fit way better than I expected. I'll probably still relocate the collectors a bit but that'll be easy.

I went back and forth for like 10 months on whether or not to even do the gen III swap since they're so common these days. That was really the only reason I could think of not to do it, those motors are fucking awesome. After seeing the performance, durability, and reliability my friends have gotten with some basic mods I just couldn't not do it.

It's been a while.....I don't care enough to go for a full blown update so here are some basics
Front

Rear lowers currently being redone to clear the new t-case/driveshaft and give some better geometry for high speed stuff.

Full bump

It was on a 14.1L Cummins in a crane truck, I got it from a buddy. It's what originally got me thinking about forced induction, but it's huge and has slight bearing slop. I was going back and forth for a while between a MasterPower custom turbo setup and a supercharger....Ended up getting a SMOKING deal on the Magnacharger so I went that route. The blower makes more sense for what I'm doing anyway since it'll give me instant power. I should be upwards of 450 lb-ft by 1500 RPM and close to 600 by 5k RPM. I could get more peak power out of a turbo but power under the curve is what I care about. Completely unnecessary but it'll be fun as hell.
